When it comes to
making art, both the presenters and the audience are involved. The idea
of the audience as making art may be an unexpected idea.
We're all familiar
with artists of the visual world. Painters. Sculptors. Installation
artists. We're familiar with artists who compose, play and perform music.
And artists who dance, and stage and film actors. Writers are artists.
But then there is
the audience. People who appreciate what they see and what they hear.
You can think of the audience in the way the poet T.S. Eliot did:
Below is a listing
of presentations by artists. You the audience are cordially invited
to these many venues to see and hear, while the music lasts.
