Cenmar Fuertes — President & Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Fuertes is the co-founder of Latin eVentures and its first operating brand eAQUI. A native of Mexico, Mr. Fuertes spent the last seven years of his professional career as an international business executive at Ingram Micro Inc., the world’s largest distributor of IT products. His last position at Ingram Micro was as General Manager of Japan, where he managed the company’s strategic relationship with Softbank Corporation, Japan’s leading technology distributor and Internet conglomerate.

Prior to his Japan assignment, Mr. Fuertes was Director of Global Sales where he and his team were responsible for a number of international supply-chain initiatives between Ingram Micro and companies like Dell Computer, Buy.com, EDS, and GE Capital. Before his global sales role, Mr. Fuertes was responsible for international business development for a number of Ingram Micro units, including the company’s export division, which sold products in 45 countries. Mr. Fuertes also oversaw the establishment of strategic relationships with Latin American suppliers and customers.

Mr. Fuertes began his professional career at Inacom Computer Inc., a leading systems integrator and IT consultancy after he completed his studies in Industrial Engineering at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM).

Ron Cunningham — Vice President, Finance & Administration

Mr. Cunningham brings over 20 years of management and financial experience as a results driven leader of multi-million dollar businesses.

Most recently, Mr. Cunningham was the Chief Operating Officer for the International Law Firm, Baker & McKenzie’s San Diego Office. There he managed all aspects of business operations, including Human Resources, Accounting, Facilities, Library, Records, Marketing and Systems.

As the Chief Operating Officer for UGG Holdings Inc., a $20 million manufacturer and distributor of sheepskin footwear, Mr. Cunningham managed all aspects of the company’s business as well as negotiating purchasing agreements in New Zealand, Australia, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, China, and the United States.

Mr. Cunningham served as Vice President of Finance and Administration for the NBA’s Denver Nuggets professional basketball franchise. He reduced operations costs by $3 million and acquired the local novelty rights, redesigned the team’s logo and opened a retail store that elevated merchandise sales by 200%.

In addition, Mr. Cunningham was Regional Managing Partner for the Western Region of the international accounting firm Pannell Kerr Forster. Mr. Cunningham is a Certified Public Accountant and holds an MBA from Golden Gate University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Arizona.

Pilar Serrano, Director of Finance, Investor Relations & Legal Affairs

Ms. Serrano joined eAQUI in August 1999 as Director of Finance and Corporate Legal Counsel. She directs the financial analysis of the company and its pan-regional operations. Furthermore, she is responsible for performing the due diligence processes of potential joint ventures and acquisitions, as well as seeking financial strategic alliances and investors.

Serrano brings more than 15 years of experience in strategic financial and legal counsel to multi-national corporations, banks and other financial institutions, to eAQUI. She last was a partner in an Asset Management Company that she co-founded in 1994.

Prior to that, she served as the Brazilian representative of Ross Capital Markets Ltd., a hedge fund. During her tenure with the company, she was able to develop the first conversion into equity transaction of a foreign institution into a Brazilian public sector entity, and launched the hedge fund as a major player in the Brazilian capital markets. She was quickly promoted to Managing Director of the Emerging Markets desk, and moved to Hong Kong to establish hedge funds in Asia.

In the late 1980s, Serrano worked for an international consortium bank, called Libra Bank Plc., where she was responsible for the Brazilian portfolio. She joined Morgan Grenfell, where she formed the Emerging Markets Group. Her major task was restructuring the Brazilian portfolio through debt arbitrage transactions.

Serrano holds a Bachelor Degree in Law from the Catholic Pontifical University - São Paulo, and an MBA from The University of São Paulo’s Business School.

Carla Andrade de Almeida Carvalho, Director of Technology

Ms. Carvalho brings a wealth of systems and computer programming knowledge and expertise to eAQUI. As a consultant, webmaster and project manager she has specialized in the development of advanced Internet and Intranet systems in Latin America.

Prior to joining eAQUI, Ms. Carvalho was the project manager on major websites for Montreal Informática and the Center of Government Studies at the University of Rio de Janeiro State. Her technology background covers a wide gamut of programming languages, executional challenges and pan regional territories.

Ms. Carvalho holds an MS from the Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Rafael Martinez De Sanzo, Vice President & Director General - Argentina

Mr. De Sanzo brings extensive legal and international business experience to the eAQUI team. A practicing attorney in both Argentina and the United States, Mr. De Sanzo is an expert at bridging the gaps between Argentina and other countries.

Most recently, Mr. De Sanzo was the General Secretary for the Consular Press Organization in Los Angeles, California. In Los Angeles, Mr. De Sanzo also served as Legal Advisor and Press Attaché to the Argentine General Consulate and Promotion Center.

Prior to that time, he was an Associate at the Michelson Law Firm in Buenos Aires, Argentina. There he specialized in corporate law and commercial agreements, foreign investments, international capital markets and product liability. In 1996, he worked as a consultant for Price Waterhouse & Company in Argentina.

His background also includes time as a Legal Advisor in Argentina’s National Senate and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

A member of the Foreign Service since 1989, Mr. De Sanzo holds law degrees from the National University of Buenos Aires and the Argentina’s Foreign Service Institute. He also holds an LLM in Common Law Studies, International & Comparative Law from Georgetown University’s Law School.

Mariano Gordinho — Vice President, Marketing and Business Development & Director General - Brazil

A veteran of the Brazilian computer industry, he has over two decades of management, marketing and sales experience.

He joins the company after a noteworthy career as Vice President of Operations at Officer Distribuidora, a privately held wholesale computer product distribution company that he co-founded in 1985. Mr. Gordinho was responsible for building strategic alliances with leading edge manufacturers, vendors and suppliers. He played an important role in the final negotiations that led to the company’s 1998 joint venture with Unisel Holdings S.A.

Mr. Gordinho has been credited with nurturing the expansion of IT technology in Brazil. His work has enabled Latin American consumers and corporations to gain access to state-of-the-art products and brands. He holds a Bachelor Degree in Economics from FMU — Brazil.

Jeffrey Kirkman, Vice President & Director General - Chile

An international marketing, sales and business development expert, Mr. Kirkman brings over fifteen years experience to the post of Director General — Chile.

Most recently, Mr. Kirkman worked as the Director of International Sales and Marketing for Universal Studios Hollywood Theme Park. There he devised and implemented strategies for marketing the part to international markets. Before that time, Mr. Kirkman was the Director of International Sales and Marketing for the Hotel Nikko at Beverly Hills.

As Director of International Sales and Marketing for Latin America and South Africa at Blumenthal Print Works, Inc., Mr. Kirkman was responsible for the sales and marketing of upholstery and mattress ticking in Latin America, the Caribbean and South Africa including international advertising and new product development.

While residing in Buenos Aires, Mr. Kirkman acted as Director of International Sales and Marketing at CATE (Center for Business Technical Assistance). At CATE, Mr. Kirkman was responsible for selling marketing services to an array of international firms operating in Argentina Brazil, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay. Also, he conducted marketing analysis of client-firms in the retail, wholesale and industrial sectors and designed and implemented marketing, sales promotional strategies and branding campaigns based on such analyses.

From 1994 to 1996, he founded and operated Masterpiece Clothing, Inc. in New York City. Mr. Kirkman has an Master of Arts in Latin American and Caribbean Studies from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from American University.

Sebastian Kaz, Vice President & Director General — Mexico

Prior to joining eAQUI, Mr. Kaz had a distinguished career with The Black & Decker Corporation, where he held both domestic and international positions.

Most recently, he was based in Miami where he served as General Manager for Northern Latin America. The division, with $150 MM in revenues and over 300 employees, operated its own subsidiaries in 14 different countries. Prior to this assignment, Mr. Kaz directed all the finance, administrative and distribution functions for Black & Decker as Vice President, Finance and Administration — Latin America.

Other past assignments included Director of Finance for Black & Decker’s Price Pfister Division in California and Controller with Safety Components International, in which he played a key role in their Initial Public Offering (IPO). Mr. Kaz also worked for L.A. Properties, a California real estate investment and development company, as their General Manager. He began his career at Grant Thornton in Argentina.

Mr. Kaz holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from the University of Buenos Aires — Argentina and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Belgrano — Argentina.
